What's the difference between ranting & raving?

I know ranting means complaining, but does raving mean bragging?What's the difference between ranting %26amp; raving?
If you say that someone is ranting, you mean that he is talking loudly and angrily in an uncontrolled way.


You use raving to describe someone who you think is completely mad and his shouting makes no sense.
